1) icons! For now I am happy with this Jared one but I should get some more sometime.

2) have granted access to and subscribed to everyone who added me. Should I remain subscribed to people who haven't subscribed back?

3) work out how to have a pretty layout instead of a fugly one.

4) decide whether to fork out $3 (aka $6) to see what the paid account features are like.

5) work out what I am going to do with this thing.

thefulcrum has a good tutorial on moving Mixit layouts onto DW. At the moment I think it's the simplest, painlessest way to get a non-deef layout. Of course, it means you have to find a Mixit layout you like...

Subscribing to someone only makes their entries appear on your reading page. If you want to read someone because they're interesting or you like their fic, there's no reason to unsub. It different with granting access because that gives people access to your locked content. If you're uncomfortable with someone having access to your stuff when you don't to their stuff, I'd revoke it.

There is a way you can set your account as a paid account until the end of the month for free, as part of the beta testing. I've hunted around, but I CANNOT find the page where I did it. But it is there. Honest.

It's here. You can set your account to any status you like, and all will be reset to basic for open beta launch.

i worked out how to get a shiny layout, but the profile hates me. it fucks up every html code i've tried so far. :(
